Microcentro Buenos Aires painted by street artists

Street artists were painting new designs on the shutters of local businesses in downtown Buenos Aires at the weekend. The new interventions are along Esmeralda Street between Lavalle Street and Avenue Corrientes. Photos by Adri Godis.

Creation of Batman street art in Buenos Aires

The Creation of Batman. This mural painted in a square in Buenos Aires, is a reinterpretation of Michaelangelo’s famous fresco in the Sistine Chapel. God is played by The Joker and the part of Adam is played by Batman. Artists are Mario Calvo and Pato Kozow.

Vhils artwork in Buenos Aires painted over

A stunning artwork by Portuguese street artist Vhils in Palermo was painted over a few weeks ago. Vhils created the portrait at Meeting of Styles in November 2011 using a hammer drill to take chunks out of the wall to make a relief sculpture.
